My names are Tony Airhenbuwa, from Edo state Nigeria and i have been living in Germany for over 20yrs now. iam a mathematician by training and i was a mathematics teacher in several secoundary schools in Nigeria before coming to Germany. havent attended several courses in institutions in Germany i became a memeber of the Deutscher Journalisten-Verband in Germany for the past Nine years. iam presently a Radio presenter and Program Director with African Heritage Radio on FM 96.0 here in Hamburg Germany, before now i was with an online Radio station for three years called TopAfric Radio in Hamburg Germany, and my programe on air is called WHATS UP NAIJA. which i produce and present to inform both Nigerians at home and those in diaspora and our host country Germany. its all about information, entertainment and show casing the rich traditional culture of Nigeria and Africa in general.In 2011 i was honoured with a Merit Award as presented by Ambassador Okoye of Nigeria Embassy in Germany, 2012 i won the best Radio presenter Award from TopAfric Radio in Germany., 2013 i won the best Radio presenter Award in Europe by Nigerian Europe award in Spain (NEU),27-04- 2014 my programe WHATS UP NAIJA won the best programe on Radio Award in Rome Italy by NEU, i won the MBE AWARD in Manchester UK as the Best Promoter of Culture 2014. and i won African Diaspora Merit Award in Holland (ADMA) in the category Best Radio/TV presenter of the year 2014. 17-05-14 i was honoured by Heritage magazine in Hamburg as one of the 100 most influentia Africans in Germany. April 2015 i was honoured with OUTSTANDING ACHIEVMENT Award by Africa 4 u in London uk. in 2017 i was honoured in Antwepe Belgium as Radio presenter of the year in Europe by African Global Entertainment Awards, in the year 2018 i won the Impact Makers Awards in Belgium, 23rd November 2018 i was honoured in Netherlands by Voice Achievers Awards with African Media Award, September 14th 2019 i was honoured in Paris France with Radio presenter of the year. curently i have been Nominated for an Honour in Benin City Nigeria on the 27th of October 2019, by Best of Edo Awards. Fans and friends call me TONY AIR. I was Honoured with the prestigious BEST LEGENDARY AWARD 2016 in Berlin Germany.Happiest moment from my job was when German tv station came to interview me as i broadcaste live to the world.
