Summer 2022 is gearing up to be the best we’ve had in years. Adding to the excitement is the Afro Music Festival 2022 to be hosted this July.
Afro Music Fest. is a festival of Afrobeats, hip-hop, R&B, dancehall, amapiano, Afrohouse and more held every summer in celebration of different music, and cultures within the African Diaspora. The concert celebrates the African peoples and cultural heritage through Arts, Fashion & Music.
The event is one of the signature events in the diaspora produced/hosted by Afro Nation that showcases the diverse genres of music within and around Africa as well as other global communities. After having to postpone two consecutive editions, Afro Music Fest is roaring to go again as it makes a return.
Lineup announcements are still being released, but so far the afrobeats lineup includes Nigerian rapper Naira Marley, Nigerian singers Rema and Tems, exciting reggae-dancehall acts from Beenie Man, Koffee, Patoranking and US based Nigerian artiste Jay Newton.
These and a host of other supporting acts will be spreading the amanpiano & Afrobeats domination globally.
Jay Newton who is working on releasing a body of work next year says “My objective is to use this festival to create awareness for the new and rebranded me and as a springboard to increase my fan base”.
He also expressed his joy at having made the list of performers and promised to give a performance his fans will be proud of.
